Kathryn Bender couldn't know it, but her death may have saved Christopher Storm's life. In her memory, thousands of teens are screened annually for undetected cardiac disorders. One such screening led to the diagnosis of Storm's hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. "If (the screening) hadn't found this disease, I would be another student who could have collapsed with no warning," Storm says.
