SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Forecasters expect more showers and thunderstorms into Friday evening in north central Washington that could bring further flash flooding in areas left bare by summer wildfires. The National Weather Service says heavy rain amounts will be spotty but storms could drop a half-inch of rain in a short time. Forecasters say the flash flood watch also includes areas in Chelan and Okanogan counties that were scarred by fires last summer.
