The best that can be said for Paul Cornell's Wolverine run is that Cornell has never been afraid to play around and experiment with his style of presentation and the types of challenges Logan faces. That experimentation hasn't always worked, but with a character who's been around and appeared as frequently as Wolverine, it's better to try new things than stick to old formulas.
