Speculation is rife the San Diego Comic-Con may be on the move following a decision not to pursue the expansion of the city's convention centre. THR reports the city council decided not to appeal a court ruling that essentially means the planned expansion, due to begin in "late 2014" and widely regarded to have been an incentive for Comic-Con organisers to stick around in San Diego, is now much less likely to happen. The original court ruling passed earlier this month and nixed the idea of putting a proposed levy on hotels in the area in order to fund the projected $520 million cost of the expansion.
