NEW YORK (AP) — New York City says it has exceeded its post-Sandy housing recovery goal, reimbursing 500 homeowners and starting construction on 500 homes by Labor Day. The director of Mayor Bill de Blasio's Office of Housing Recovery tells the Wall Street Journal (http://on.wsj.com/W5g6ul ) it expects to begin construction on at least 50 homes a week going forward.
