Jump in the wayback machine. The Broncos didn’t just debut their Mile High Collection on Monday. They also unveiled a throwback option, as well. The Broncos throwback uniform is designed to be essentially an exact replica of the 1977 uniform and is an ode to the domination of the Orange Crush years. Because of the modern nature of uniforms now, there’s no number on the shoulder sleeves, but other than that the color scheme, retro helmet design and logo and rest of the kit was designed exactly to 1977, down to the stripe combinations on the socks. The uniform features legacy blue helmets with white face masks, a clean front bumper plate on the helmet and orange uniforms with white numbers. The retro uniforms will not be available for the public to purchase until July, but they’ve got ways for fans to sign up for notifications for when they’re set to go on sale. Denver is bringing cornerback Levi Wallace back to town Monday, sources confirmed to The Post, and a deal is expected to follow if everything goes to plan. The move would add veteran presence to a group that is otherwise young around Surtain. The 28-year-old also made a free agent visit to Denver earlier this month, setting the stage for a decision. NFL Network first reported the deal was close. Wallace spent the past two seasons in Pittsburgh and four before that with Buffalo after going undrafted in 2018. The 6-foot cover man has been a regular in the lineup essentially his entire career.

The sport will either become sanctioned at Tuesday’s CHSAA Legislative Council meeting or it will be voted down, in part over concerns about logistical issues involved in getting flag football off the ground. After beating the Mariners, 2-1 in 10 innings, in the opener of Sunday’s split-doubleheader at Coors Field to snap a six-game losing streak, Colorado had a chance for back-to-back wins.
