ST. ALBANS, Vt. (AP) — Civil War area re-enactors are marking the 150th anniversary of the St. Albans Raid this weekend. A group of Confederate soldiers entered from Vermont from Canada and on Oct. 19, 1864 robbed banks in the area before fleeing back to Canada with some of the money. The raid was the northernmost land action of the Civil War A re-enactment of the raid will take place at 2 p.m.
