The warm September winds still blow through the more than 70,000-square-foot building that’s under construction as security walls continue to be put into place. The southeast corner of First Street and Littler Avenue in downtown Edmond has undergone huge changes since construction started a year ago this week. Deputy Police Chief Steve Thompson said he has been working 10 years on a new police headquarters, long before the construction started. Thompson’s job isn’t finished.Read more on NewsOK.com
