Runescape has now opened the doors to the city of Prifdinnas, the Lost City of the Elves - a new area for high-levelled players to discover the conclusion to a quest chain that was first introduced in the free-to-play browser MMO ten years ago. The new metropolis grants players access to four clan-controlled districts, each with its own various challenges to conquer. "It's an incredible amount of content," says Runescape VP Phil Mansell, "and the team is working around the clock to double this by the end of 2014." The second half of the Lost City of the Elves will be unlocked later this year, opening up content in four more clan districts. Runescape started life in 2001 and now boasts some 200 million player accounts.
