Women have always been funny, but it wasn't until recently that society allowed them to look beautiful and make us laugh. Filmmaker Heidi Ewing, who directed the documentary "MAKERS: Women in Comedy," dropped by HuffPost Live on Tuesday to discuss her work on the history of funny females, and she spoke with host Caroline Modarressy-Tehrani about the long-held concern among women comics that an attractive appearance would make it harder to win over an audience.
