Maurice Wash of Clinton Avenue, Bridgeport, was charged with first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, third-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny. The victim told police that the three assailants took $2,000 in cash, his car keys, cell phone and driver's license and then fled west on Selleck Street. Police said he sliced a 16-year-old's right arm from armpit to elbow with a 4-inch hook knife after the boy pulled out his pockets to Wash and his accomplice while trying to show the two he had no money.
