A fast march by Garfield students, a forceful message for Seattle police

Students from Garfield High School’s Black Student Union wasted no time in a rapid march on the Seattle Police Department’s East Precinct, and delivered a blunt message to impassive officers forming a cordon in front of the building. “You wear these uniforms:  Please use them for good,” Patrick Bennett, a Garfield student, shouted into the megaphone, as about three dozen students cheered in the rain.
