Paul Allen commits $100 million to Ebola fight, will build “safety cocoons”

Seattle Seahawks owner Paul Allen has raised to $100 million is commitment to combat Ebola, and will finance the building of two “safety cocoons”, containment units designed to evacuate infected health care workers from West Africa. “Everybody feels called sometimes to really pursue a certain thing that resonates with them, and this has resonated with me,” the Microsoft co-founder told The New York Times.  Allen has already given away $1.5 billion of his fortune through the Paul G.
