The militant Islamist group Boko Haram has been accused of abducting dozens more women and girls from two villages in Nigeria’s northeastern Adamawa state. Residents say the alleged kidnappings, which haven’t been confirmed by authorities, took place a day after a reported truce between the militants and Nigerian government, the BBC says. The government hopes negotiations with Boko Haram will secure the release of more than 200 girls who were taken hostage by the militants in April.
