SHANNON – A south Lee County man was killed Friday morning when he was struck by a vehicle while walking along Highway 145 near the Brewer Road exit. The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the scene between Shannon and Verona around 7:15 a.m. and found the victim. The man had no identification on him at the time.
