Comment on Gunshots reported at Ventura hotel

Rescue crews were responding Saturday afternoon to a report of gunfire at a Ventura hotel.Crews responded at 4:47 p.m. to the Crowne Plaza hotel in the 400 block of East Harbor Boulevard, according to the Ventura County Fire Department. They were responding to unconfirmed reports of gunshots on the 11th floor.Witnesses at the scene said they saw officers draw their guns and head toward the beach-facing side of the hotel.
