/politics moderators claim to be facilitators of discussion, except when the discussion is about their facilitation of an impedi

To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize. Ever since the moderator shuffle that accompanied that clusterfuck of a domain blacklist from late last year, the moderation quality of this sub has taken a very visible and called-out nosedive. Popular stories suddenly vanish off the front page, entire trees of comments are obliterated, unknown, extreme and much-maligned users have been brought on board the mod team at the expense of more established/popular/moderate ones, and in general it's gotten to the point where you can't even talk about the politics of /politics on /politics: Police brutality and militarization as enabled by the laws passed by our politicians?
