Comment on Ex-employee charged with stealing goods from Lincolnville lumber company

MONROE — A Monroe man has been arrested on charges that he stole thousands of dollars’ worth of items from his former employer – the Viking Lumber Company in Lincolnville. Stephen McCausland, a spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety, said Maine State Police troopers, state game wardens and members of the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency searched 32-year-old Ryan Weaver’s home at 98 Back Brooks Road on Thursday. Police recovered a variety of items that had been stolen from Viking Lumber, including building materials, power tools, routers, drills and a lawnmower.
