Actress Gal Gadot has had to back out of talks to play the female lead in Timur Bekmambetov's "Ben-Hur" remake at MGM and Paramount says The Wrap. Gadot was linked only two weeks ago to the part and was said to have entered discussions at the time. Now though, she's had to depart due to scheduling conflicts with her Wonder Woman role on "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and the other upcoming DC Cinematic Universe titles. Filming on "Ben-Hur" isn't slated to begin until early next year, but Gadot not only has to finish shooting 'Dawn' but is attached to play Wonder Woman in both her own stand-alone film and "Justice League: Part One" which are both due out in 2017.
