The State Fire Marshal's office Friday is expected to release its investigation report concerning the May 2013 blaze at the Southwest Inn in which four Houston fire fighters were killed. In September, Assistant Fire Chief Richard Mann told City Council that the fire, thought to have kindled in the motel's Bhojan Vegetarian Restaurant, likely erupted three hours before staff summoned firefighters.
