Staff reports UNEEDA, W.Va. -- Boone County sheriff's deputies safely ended a standoff early this morning with a man whom they said was suicidal.Boone County Chief Sheriff's Deputy Chad Barker said deputies went to a home near Uneeda just before midnight Thursday to investigate reports that a man there had cut his own throat and was threatening suicide.
