A Houston police officer was injured early Saturday morning after a suspected drunk driver slammed into his cruiser, authorities said. The crash took place at Antoine Drive and Hardway Street in northwest Houston when a man driving a 2014 BMW hit the HPD cruiser around 2:10 a.m. One of the officers, who was on the passenger side, was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the BMW was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
