Comment on Bellingham is one of America’s “25 Best Places to Retire”: Forbes

No publication in America showers the state of Washington, and its cities, with more honors than the conservative Forbes Magazine. The latest:  Bellingham makes it onto Forbes’ list of the the 25 “Best Places to Retire in 2014.” The “scenic coastal home of Western Washington University” is praised for its “good economy,” “above average air quality,” “low crime” and is “highly walkable.”  Its main negative is that the cost of living in “Bellywash” is 9 percent above the national average.
