I spent much of this afternoon flying a small airplane, with my wife Deb. The idea (after closing an article) was to get off the East Coast, toward our destinations in the west, before the latest winter storm immured people in the east for Thanksgiving. Our landing at Huntington airport, on the West Virginia - Kentucky - Ohio border was right at dusk, so I was glad for the big, wide runway and the absence of any problematic wind.
