University Hospital will appeal the state’s decision to deny it a license to build a hospital in Columbia County in favor of Georgia Regents Medical Center. University’s board voted Thursday to proceed with the appeal, which will probably be filed next week, said Ed Burr, senior vice president for legal affairs.
