LOS ANGELES (AP) — Authorities say three people were killed in a rollover crash in northern San Diego County while they were on their way to a funeral service in Mexico. City News Service reports that 25-year-old driver Jerson Duron, his 22-year old wife Edith Duron and 21-year-old Ivette Garcia were killed when the tire tread separated from a wheel on their Ford Expedition on Friday, causing the SUV to spin out of control and roll onto the northbound lanes of Interstate 15. California Highway Patrol officer Jim Bettencourt says three others, including the couple's 2-year-old daughter, suffered minor injuries in the crash. Bettencourt says the group was traveling to Mexico to attend a memorial service for the father of one of the crash's survivors.Read more on NewsOK.com
