FREDERICK, Md. (AP) — Details are being made publicly available in the death of a rural Frederick County woman allegedly stabbed by her 19-year-old granddaughter. Frederick County District Court reopens Monday for the first time since Maryland State Police charged Hestina Harris with first-degree murder in the Dec. 22 slaying of Lillie Morris. Harris lived with her grandmother near the tiny town of Burkittsville. Morris was found mortally wounded in her front yard three days before Christmas.
