Sweeping new anti-terrorism powers introduced by the Conservative government Friday include giving Canadian spies police-like powers to disrupt terrorist operations, allow authorities to remove terrorist propaganda from the internet and make it a crime to promote or to advocate others to engage in terrorism. Many of the measures will affect the Canadian Security and Intelligence Service.
