RICHMOND — Gov. Terry McAuliffe recently announced more than $3 million in Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) to the counties of Scott, Lee, Dickenson, York and Fauquier, as well as the town of Clarksville and the city of Franklin.Projects include water and sewer, downtown revitalization and microenterprise.Scott County received $412,500 for the Big Stoney Creek Water Project, while Lee County received $100,000 for the Baileytown Water Project.“Funding from sources like the Community Development Block Grant is vital as we work to build a new Virginia economy.
