SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — The Utah Department of Transportation has unveiled plans for highway construction projects across the state this year, including a $252 million project to rebuild and widen a section of Interstate 15 between Draper and Lehi. UDOT officials on Friday released a list of the state's top 15 highway projects, saying they're among 180 construction projects planned this year at a cost of nearly $680 million. Topping the list is the project to widen I-15 from four lanes to six lanes in each direction around the Point of the Mountain between Draper and Lehi. Plans also call for replacement on the section of some concrete pavement that dates back to the original I-15 in the 1960s. Crews this year hope to complete a $126.9 million project to add express lanes and rebuild bridges and interchanges on a section of I-15 in southern Davis County.Read more on NewsOK.com
