Andrew Lack in talks to return to NBC

NEW YORK (AP) — Former NBC News president Andrew Lack is in talks to return to that network's troubled news organization. An executive at NBC Universal who spoke on condition of anonymity because it was a personnel matter said Tuesday that Lack, a veteran entertainment executive who worked at NBC for a decade ending in 2003, would return in a lead role overseeing NBC News, MSNBC and CNBC. NBC News has had a string of troubles, most recently top anchorman Brian Williams' suspension for six months for misleading viewers on his experiences covering the Iraq War. It's unclear what Lack's return would mean for Pat Fili-Krushel, who runs the NBC News Group, or NBC News President Deborah Turness, but they're expected to remain with the company. Discussions with Lack were first reported in Variety.Read more on NewsOK.com
