Edmond North High School bomb threat investigation goes to district attorney

By Diana Baldwin, Staff WriterEDMOND — Edmond police Friday turned over the results of their investigation of a 16-year-old former student who officers said threatened to cause mass casualties at Edmond North High School. Complaints in the case involving the former student, who remained Friday at an inpatient mental health facility, were taken to the Oklahoma County district attorney’s juvenile division. Outlined in the investigation are complaints of felony threats by devising a plan to cause serious bodily harm or death with a firearm and explosive devices; two counts of manufacturing an explosive device; two counts of possessing an explosive device and 13 counts of possessing component parts of an explosive device. Officers said they found bomb-making materials during a consent search of the former student’s family home.Read more on NewsOK.com
