Netflix and Marvel Television have revealed that producer Cheo Hodari Coker will write and executive produce the third Marvel Netflix series Luke Cage, starring Mike Colter (American Horror Story: Coven, Halo: Nightfall) as the titular hero. Coker’s producing credits include co-executive producer on the second season of Showtime’s crime drama Ray Donovan starring Live Schreiber as well as supervising producer on the fourth season of the TNT cop drama Southland that starred Gotham’s Ben Mckenzie and The Walking Dead’s Michael Cudlitz.
