The Windham man who plans to donate a kidney to a 24-year-old South Portland mother doesn’t have to worry any longer about taking time off work without pay. Josh Dall-Leighton’s Go Fund Me effort – through which he hoped to raise about $6,000 – is now up to more than $37,000. Local, national and international media outlets, including Fox News and Today.com, picked up the story following a recent Portland Press Herald article and video about Dall-Leighton’s gift to a complete stranger. “It’s crazy,” says his wife, Ashley.
