Comment on Woman hit, killed in apartment parking lot in north Colorado Springs

By Kassondra Cloos kassondra.cloos@gazette.com -A 69-year-old woman was struck and killed Friday afternoon in the parking area of a north Colorado Springs apartment complex, Colorado Springs police confirmed. The incident happened about 1:30 p.m. at the Ironwood at Palmer Park complex at 3504 Van Teylingen Drive, southwest of North Academy Boulevard and Austin Bluffs Parkway, police said. Initial reports indicated that the woman was struck by a vehicle driven by a 77-year-old man, police said.
