BY KASSONDRA CLOOS The Gazette -Jurors on Thursday found a former Fort Carson soldier guilty of stealing military equipment worth thousands of dollars from the post. Torrence Hall was found guilty of stealing gear worth more than $20,000 but less than $100,000. His trial began Monday in a 4th Judicial District courtroom when jurors were introduced to a huge cache of weapons parts, night-vision equipment and other gear that prosecutors say totaled more than $100,000 and was seized from his Fountain home in 2013. Defense attorney Matt James argued the government couldn't prove the gear was stolen.
