James Brown may be able to lay claim to the moniker “hardest working man in show business,” at least for a time, but after reading Richard Zoglin’s “Hope: Entertainer of the Century” (Simon & Schuster, $30) chronicling the life of legendary entertainer Bob Hope (and in this case the “legendary” cliché fits), I’d have to say that Hope is the hardest working man in the history of show business.
