Beloved cinematographer Andrew Lesnie has died suddenly from a suspected heart attack at age 59. Just as much as Peter Jackson, Lesnie was the man responsible for the look of "the Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit" films, having worked as director of photography on all six movies in the two trilogies. Leslie served as DP on over forty films and series including "Rise of the Planet of the Apes," 2005's "King Kong," "I Am Legend," "The Lovely Bones," both "Babe" films, "The Last Airbender," "The Delinquents," "Spider & Rode," "Two if by Sea," "Doing Time for Patsy Cline," "Bran Nue Dae". His most recent and now final film was Russell Crowe's "The Water Diviner" which is currently in cinemas in the United States. Source: ABC Online
