MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Erratic throws rolled into the outfield, pitches skipped in the dirt, and fielders dropped balls and failed to cover bases. [...] they came to Minnesota, where they allowed double-digit runs twice, were shut out once and had four errors in Sunday's 13-3 loss as the Twins completed a four-game sweep. Things started out reasonably well when White Sox starter John Danks struck out the side in the first and stranded two runners in the second. The left-hander fell apart in the third, committing two throwing errors himself and giving up Trevor Plouffe's first major league grand slam. Ryan Pressly (1-0) pitched 2 2/3 innings of hitless relief. Starter Mike Pelfrey allowed five hits and two earned runs in 3 1/3 innings, hitting three batters and walking two. Plouffe then cleared the bases with his slam, a drive into the seats in left-center field for his second home run in two days. Danny Santana added a two-run single past LaRoche and Dozier had an RBI single to make it 7-0.
