The University of Alabama softball team got a tough draw against a tough Oklahoma team in the Tuscaloosa Super Regional. Alexis Osorio was tougher. Lauren Chamberlain, college softball's all-time home run queen, was clutch for the Sooners. Marisa Runyon delivered the most clutch hit of the postseason. The sophomore third baseman hit a grand slam in the sixth inning to propel the Crimson Tide to a dramatic, come-from-behind 5-3 victory Saturday night, bringing a capacity Rhoads Stadium crowd of 3,940 to its feet and delivering a series win to send Alabama to the Women's College World Series.
