Tomorrowland Disappoints At The Top Of The US Box Office Charts

Poltergeist haunts fifthTomorrowland (full UK title Tomorrowland: A World Beyond) might tempt us with the idea of a bright future, but the box-office prospects for Disney’s prestige adventure project aren’t exactly rosy. And that’s despite taking the top spot at the US box office on a Memorial Day weekend that the business might soon want to forget.According to studio estimates, Brad Bird’s latest made $41.7 million across the four days, which is below the hoped-for $50 million target.
