FROM STAFF REPORTSFormer Oklahoma Gov. Frank Keating’s successor as head of the American Bankers Association was selected Wednesday. Former Treasury Department official Rob Nichols will be the association’s new president and CEO, taking over after Keating leaves late this summer. Keating took the job in January 2011. Keating announced earlier this year that he would step down. Keating, 71, served as Oklahoma governor from 1995 to 2003 and was the state’s first Republican governor to serve consecutive terms. “It has been my honor to lead the ABA,” Keating said in a statement.Read more on NewsOK.com
