Intel Corp. President Renée James is leaving the Santa Clara-based company after 28 years. The chipmaker (NASDAQ: INTC) announced the move Thursday in a round of sweeping leadership changes. James, an Oregon resident, told the company's board — led by Hillsboro, Oregon-based Chairman Andy Bryant — that she is leaving to pursue an external CEO role.
