U.S. stocks head lower as Greece debt talks proceed

U.S. stocks headed to losses Tuesday as European leaders met to discuss Greece's strained finances. A plunge in commodity prices helped pull stocks in material producers down more than the rest of the market. Freeport-McMoRan dropped 7 percent, the biggest loss in the S&P 500.
