Despite having only aired five episodes of its ten episode run so far, MTV has announced that it has picked up its "Scream" TV series for a second season. The series launched late June with the pilot pulling in a total viewership of six million viewers. The story focuses on the search for a murderer who killed the town's popular girl, Nina (Bella Thorne) and explores whether the previous generation's killer - Brandon James - has returned. Though an anthology style nature has been discussed, the producers say they will reveal the killer in the season finale and hope to follow a more traditional format with us following the same characters after they go through their first experiences.
