Lockheed Martin Corp. said Tuesday it sent out just 115 layoff notices to employees in Colorado Springs due to "a change in business projections." The defense giant had initially planned to tell 270 local employees they would lose their jobs in September when a key contract ends and moves to Raytheon Co., unless the Government Accountability Office upholds Lockheed protest of the $700 million contract award in March.
