BOSTON (AP) — Rick Porcello and the Boston Red Sox continued their headfirst slide into the American League East cellar Wednesday night. Porcello, whose questionable headfirst dive into first base recorded the game's first out, was booed off the mound after giving up six runs as the Chicago White Sox rolled to their seventh straight win, 9-2 over the Red Sox. It was Boston's 12th loss in 14 games. The Red Sox, who entered the night with a one-game cushion for the worst record in the AL, have been outscored 11-0 collectively in the first inning of the first three games of the series. "We've been slapped in the face right from the get-go," Red Sox manager John Farrell said.
