Indie Game Prices are Too High, Says Indie Dev

Zeboyd Games' Robert Boyd has some strong opinions about the current state of indie game prices. "I've seen a disturbing trend of more and more indie games launching at higher prices recently," he wrote candidly on a NeoGAF post. "Whereas $10-$15 was the norm for non-mobile indie games not that long ago, it feels like more and more $20 is becoming the standard." According to Boyd, having a reduced price tag often means games can be more lucrative and successful for their creators. "Lower prices often benefit both players and the developer.
