SANTA PAULA, Calif. (AP) — A small plane has crashed in the Ventura County mountains near Santa Paula, killing the pilot. Ian Gregor of the Federal Aviation Administration says a passer-by found the wreckage of a twin-engine Cessna 337 on Saturday about four miles southeast of the Santa Paula airport. He says the plane apparently crashed several days ago. TV reports show the wreckage on the side of a hill. It's unclear when and where the plane took off.
