While X-Men: Apocalypse may be the last contractual appearance of Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy as Magneto and Professor Xavier, respectively, there may be a cinematic future for the mutant duo yet. Heroic Hollywood reports both McAvoy and Fassbender have made deals to return in their respective X-Men roles in films beyond Apocalypse, pointing to an interview with MTV News where Fassbender said he's "(always) interested in moving forward," and wasn't sure about the future beyond the three-film deal that he, McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Nicholas Hoult signed.
